In2tec Asia & Shenzhen :: manufacturer of membrane switches and circuits _
_ Features & Specifications of Membrane Switch

FEATURES
- Control panel with attractive and colourful appearance
- Moisture, dust and oil resistant
- Easy to handle and assemble

TYPES OF MEMBRANE SWITCH
There are three basic types of membrane switch, each with unique characteristics:
- Non Tactile (Flat keys)
- Plastic Tactile (Polydoms)
- Metal Dome Tactile (Metal domes/discs)
In this context "tactile" indicates that the switch has "feel": the operator can feel it click in and out of electrical contact.

-30℃ - +60℃
Maximum possible(storage):
+90℃
Minimum possible (storage):
-40℃
ESD/RFI
Shielding can be incorporated. The high volume resistance of the plastic films used in membrane manufacture mitigate against many of the deleterious effects of static charges on individual users.

Humidity
The polymeric films are affected by humidity to a very small degree. The graphic layer is usually made of polyester or polycarbonate film. The moisture vapour transmission rate for polyester of 125u thickness is 4g/m sq./24 hours. Polycarbonate transmits water vapour at about seven times this rate.
